Hard Times

Well it seems that hard times are starting to make themselves felt at university. Some of my friends are losing their assistantships and I don't know whether or not they'll be replaced. That makes me feel sad for them, and grateful that I'm here another year with funding. Which is why I'm rushing to get through and not visiting family like I should...But then I wonder will it ever get any easier in terms of my most precious resource: time. And, on the subject of hard times, I'd rather skimp on time than money. Don't know if that's youth talking or greed!
